New Wargames Table Mat

My old table mat had become mouse and moth eaten so I decided to replace it.

The new mat started off as an 8 x 6 foot green felt from S & A Senics. I spray painted it with patches of Humbrol Grass Green, Olive Green, Dark Earth and Desert Sand to mute the relatively bright green of the felt.

Then I sprayed small dabs of 3M Scotch Weld multi-purpose adhesive and pressed down different flocking into the adhesive. I know from experience that some of the flock will rub off but as time goes on the mat will achieve a more even patina.
